About Jody Owen

Jody moved to the Florida Keys in 2001 and began a career as a commercial real estate appraiser. Having more than seven years of experience in this field, he gained a unique aptitude for assessing properties and gauging their worth as well as income potential.

 

Initially, Jody came to work with American Caribbean Real Estate as a marketing manager and soon stepped up to general manager, assisting in growing the company to double its initial size.  After helping to facilitate the transition of the company to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Keys Real Estate, he stepped back from the management role to concentrate more on sales and client relations.

 

His natural understanding of the market and willingness to spend time with clients and walk them through the real estate transaction process has been key to his success to date and a testament to his base approach to real estate as a business of relationships.  Jody takes this very much to heart with all of the buyers and sellers he represents.  They are more than just his clients and customers.

 

Before moving to the Florida Keys, Jody grew up in the rolling hills of north Mississippi. After attending college at Ole Miss, he managed a printing company and did custom stone mosaic work. In his spare time, Jody greatly enjoys a range of community activities and the company of his friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
